More About Me:

I'm a supporter of the open source movement. This website was written using open source applications and is hosted by servers running only open source software. My first experience with computers was when I was only four years old. My father had purchased a state-of-the-art 486 system for his work as an architect. I began playing around with it and soon I was doing everything I could with computers. For my 5th grade science fair project I built my own 486 machines with parts from other computers that weren't being used. Around that time I also saved up my birthday and christmas money in order to purchase my very own pocket pc (a HP Jornada 520) that I used for several years.

High School is when I was really able to let my geekiness grow. It was when I made my switch from Microsoft Windows to running Linux, first Red Hat, then Slackware, and currently running Ubuntu. I took many computer courses and even managed to get an internship at my school system's Network Operations Center.
